Blues Summon Rosen Back from Springfield


St. Louis Blues’ President of Hockey Operations and General Manager, Doug Armstrong, announced today that the team has brought defenseman Calle Rosen back from its AHL affiliate, the Springfield Thunderbirds.

Rosen, aged 30, has played in 44 matches for the Thunderbirds this season, tallying 25 points (comprising two goals and 23 assists) along with 10 penalty minutes. His 23 assists place him second among Springfield players.

During the previous season, Rosen participated in a career-high 49 NHL games with the Blues, where he amassed 18 points (eight goals, 10 assists) and led the team with a plus-19 rating.

In total, the native of Vaxjo, Sweden, has accumulated 30 points (11 goals, 19 assists) in 87 regular-season NHL games spanning his career with Toronto, Colorado, and St. Louis.
