The Titans are anticipated to ink a deal with offensive lineman Saahdiq Charles.

The Tennessee Titans are reportedly finalizing a deal with another offensive lineman during free agency. According to reports from The Athletic’s Dianna Russini, the Titans are on track to sign former Washington Commanders offensive lineman Saahdiq Charles to a one-year contract worth up to $2.5 million.

Charles will now join center Lloyd Cushenberry as the latest additions to the Titans’ offensive line. Notably, both players were previously teammates at LSU.

While Charles has mainly served as a backup since being drafted in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL draft by the Commanders, he did start a career-high 10 games in 2023. Throughout last season, Charles played in 11 games and participated in 643 snaps at left guard, allowing four sacks and 37 pressures. Although he has some experience across multiple positions, the majority of his playing time has been at both guard positions.

This move is primarily aimed at bolstering the Titans’ depth rather than making significant changes to their starting lineup, particularly at the tackle positions where notable improvements are desired.
