“Driven” Spillman is eager to play for Inge and is prepared to join the Vols.

Edwin Spillman will be moving into his dorm at Tennessee on Sunday morning after completing the online coursework required to graduate from high school. He will practice with the Vols for the first time the following day.

The four-star linebacker from Nashville, Tennessee’s Lipscomb Academy committed to Tennessee about eight months ago, and he signed with the Vols in December. However, he will now need to adjust quickly to college life. Spillman and four-star cornerback signee Kaleb Beasley, a former teammate from Lipscomb Academy, are traveling to Tennessee this weekend in preparation for Monday’s start of second-session spring classes.

Unlike the other 12 early students from the Vols’ 2024 signing class, they were unable to graduate in December. However, they will be able to take part in Tennessee’s spring practices due to their mid-semester arrival, and Spillman expressed his excitement to begin working with the Vols.
