Five-star forward Ace Bailey stands among the top three contenders for the Gatorade National Boys Basketball Player of the Year. This Rutgers basketball recruit vies for the esteemed accolade in high school basketball.

Hailing from McEachern (Powder Springs, Georgia), Bailey, ranked as the nation’s top player by USA TODAY High School Sports, committed to Rutgers in December. His remarkable season at McEachern culminated in leading his team to the state championship game, showcasing not only extraordinary athleticism but also a developing skill set.

ESPN ranks Bailey as the second-best player nationally. He shares the finalist stage with Cooper Flagg, committed to Duke, and VJ Edgecombe, committed to Baylor, for the Gatorade National Boys Basketball Player of the Year award.
