The Dolphins are re-signing River Cracraft.

Shortly after reports emerged that the Miami Dolphins are set to host free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. for a visit on Thursday, another free agent wideout revealed his return to the team. River Cracraft, who saw action in only 10 games during the 2023 season, shared on social media, “Fins all the way up! back to work!”, indicating his comeback for his third season with Miami.

Cracraft initially joined the Dolphins in 2022, starting the season on the practice squad before being elevated for each of the first three games and eventually promoted to the active roster. Across his initial two seasons with the Dolphins, he appeared in 22 games, securing 18 receptions for 223 yards and three touchdowns.

Before his stint with Miami, Cracraft had stints with the San Francisco 49ers and Philadelphia Eagles. He initially signed with the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Washington State in 2017.

Cracraft’s return bolsters the Dolphins’ wide receiver depth behind Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. While he may vie for the third receiver spot, his comeback doesn’t necessarily preclude the possibility of Beckham also joining the Dolphins.
