According to a report, Kristian Fulton turned down an offer from the Bengals and instead opted to sign with the Chargers.

It appears that the Cincinnati Bengals were indeed in the market for a cornerback in free agency.

Kristian Fulton, previously with the Tennessee Titans, has recently inked a one-year deal with the Los Angeles Chargers. His decision suggests a desire to showcase his abilities in the 2024 season with hopes of securing a more lucrative contract in the future. This strategic move aligns with Fulton’s history of missing 23 games over four seasons due to injuries.

Before finalizing his agreement with the Chargers, Fulton reportedly received offers from several teams, including the Bengals, Denver Broncos, and Arizona Cardinals.

Drafted from LSU in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft, the 25-year-old Fulton boasts commendable size and potential in the league. However, injuries have hindered his progression thus far.

During his tenure with the Titans, Fulton started in 37 games and amassed 150 tackles, one sack, four interceptions, and 25 passes defended. Notably, he delivered an impressive performance against the Pittsburgh Steelers last year, effectively limiting receiver George Pickens to just two catches for negative yardage.

Now joining the Chargers, Fulton aims to compete for a starting position opposite Asante Samuel Jr. on the team’s roster.
