Dane Myers, the center fielder for the Miami Marlins, presents somewhat of a mystery heading into this season. Last season, Myers made a significant impact in the Minor Leagues with a batting line of .316/.406/.489 across 100 games and 372 at-bats, a considerable improvement from his performance in 2022. This earned him a promotion to the Major Leagues, where he played 22 games and recorded a batting line of .269/.286/.358, including a home run and 9 RBIs.

During Spring Training, Myers showcased an impressive batting average of .412/.474/.735, seemingly justifying his place in the Major League roster. However, questions arise about whether his success is sustainable.

At 28 years old, Myers appears to be a late bloomer, raising doubts about the legitimacy of his 2023 production.
