Raiders re-sign guard Jordan Meredith to 1-year deal

The Las Vegas Raiders have extended the contract of Jordan Meredith, one of their backup offensive linemen from the 2023 season. The team announced this decision on Monday. According to Over the Cap, Meredith’s new deal spans one year and is valued at $915,000, though it contains no guaranteed money.

Originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Los Angeles Rams in 2021, Meredith, a product of Western Kentucky, made his NFL debut with the Raiders in 2022. Last season, he appeared in all 17 games, starting once. His playing time consisted of 92 offensive snaps (86 at left guard, six at right guard) and 65 snaps on special teams.

According to Pro Football Focus, Meredith performed well, not allowing any sacks and yielding only two pressures. His overall PFF grade stood at 60.5, with a pass-blocking grade of 56.7 and a run-blocking grade of 60.1.

With uncertainties lingering over the Raiders’ offensive line, particularly at right guard, Meredith could be considered for that position during training camp.
