The family of David Sanders Jr. summarizes their initial Tennessee trip experience.
Providence Day School’s offensive tackle, David Sanders Jr., stands as the most sought-after player yet to commit. He holds the second spot in the 2025 class rankings by On3 Industry Rankings. Sanders has narrowed down his choices to Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, Ohio State, South Carolina, and Tennessee. Following his recent visit to the Vols last weekend, he plans to attend their spring game this upcoming weekend.
During his recent trip, Sanders had the chance to meet with Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel and offensive line coach Glen Elarbee. Samantha Sanders, his mother, shared positive feedback with On3 after their visit. Sanders is scheduled to conclude his unofficial visits with the Vols before embarking on official visits to six programs this summer. The competition for his commitment is intense among all involved programs, with the Vols securing a spot in the top group.
“We had a fantastic time in Knoxville! It was a whirlwind visit, but overall, it was enjoyable. David hadn’t seen an actual practice before, so witnessing the team in action prior to official visits was crucial.” Samantha Sanders, speaking to On3’s Steve Wiltfong
