We’re just days away from the 2024 NFL Draft, and there’s a sense of anticipation in the air, like the quiet moment before a storm hits. While there have been some notable moves, like the Vikings snagging the 23rd overall pick earlier in the pre-draft period, I anticipate even more action during the first round, leading to an exciting Thursday night filled with trades.
In my only mock draft of the offseason, I predict multiple trades, with the Vikings making a move into the top five to secure their quarterback of the future, and the Las Vegas Raiders also maneuvering to grab a signal-caller before their division rival.
This could mean that as many as five quarterbacks are taken within the first 10 picks. Of course, mock drafts are far from exact, so I’ll consider it a success if I get just one pick (apart from Caleb Williams to Chicago) correct.
Nonetheless, it’s an enjoyable exercise as we build anticipation for one of the NFL’s standout events. Alright, enough chatter, let’s dive into the mock!
