Cade Orness is flourishing within the Gonzaga Environment

The first recruit in the Class of 2024 for the Zags is a 6’5” PG. Cade Orness is the all-time leading scorer in North Kitsap history with 1,655 career points. He also leaves the program as the all-time leader in career assists.

Orness was named the 2024 Olympic League MVP as well as the Defensive Player of the Year. He’s a preferred walk-on and also had an offer from Central Washington.

Orness essentially is replacing Colby Brooks who entered the transfer portal. He will be joining Joe Few and Joaquim ArauzMoore as the walk-ons for the Zags. The roster is currently filled at 11 scholarship players with 2 still available to give out.
