Gonzaga’s Pavle Stosic joins the transfer portal.

According to Verbal Commits, Pavle Stosic, a 6-foot-9 freshman forward for Gonzaga men’s basketball, has entered the transfer portal. During the past season, he appeared in 14 games, accumulating 14 points, 11 rebounds, and three blocks in 46 minutes coming off the bench. His highest-scoring games were against Arkansas-Pine Bluff and Pacific, where he scored four points each time.

Stosic, who hails from Serbia, joined Gonzaga after playing three seasons professionally in Spain. He spent time with Casademont Zaragoza and the Zaragoza U18 team before moving to CBP Huesca in the Spanish LEB leagues. In the 2021-22 season, he played a minor role with the club before starting in three games and making 16 appearances, averaging 3.4 points and 3.3 assists.

Additionally, Stosic represented Serbia in the FIBA U18 European Challengers in 2021, averaging 6.6 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game as Serbia finished second in Group A behind Spain.

Before the May 1 deadline, two Gonzaga players have entered the transfer portal, including redshirt junior and former walk-on Colby Brooks, who submitted his name on April 18.
