MLB Breaking: Calgary Flames Extend Regional Broadcast Deal with Sportsnet Through 2035

Flames prolong regional broadcast agreement with Sportsnet until 2035.

There were significant changes in and around the Scotiabank Saddledome this season, but one thing remains constant, and it’s set to continue for an extended period. The Calgary Flames have announced a long-term, 11-year extension with Sportsnet, ensuring the network remains the team’s exclusive regional broadcast partner until 2035.

Flames president and CEO John Bean expressed enthusiasm about the extension, highlighting Sportsnet’s longstanding dedication to providing top-notch content and coverage for Flames fans. The partnership, which began in 1998, has been pivotal in delivering Flames hockey to the C of Red, and there are no plans for fans to switch channels anytime soon.

Sportsnet president Greg Sansone echoed Bean’s sentiments, emphasizing the significance of the Flames in Sportsnet’s programming for the past 25 years and expressing gratitude to Flames chairman Murray Edwards and the entire organization for their continued trust in Sportsnet as the go-to destination for Calgary hockey fans.
