Luka Doncic received a special visit just before his impressive victory over the Clippers.

Florentino Perez observed the third game of the Dallas Mavericks versus Los Angeles Clippers series from his prominent seat in the front row. As the Real Madrid president, he witnessed the Mavericks secure a crucial 101-90 victory, propelling them into the series lead.

Just before commencing his warm-up routine, Luka Doncic approached Perez to exchange greetings, noticing him alongside Javier Barrio, the Slovenian point guard’s former physiotherapist from their shared time at Real Madrid.

Doncic engaged in conversation with the Real Madrid president before resuming his pre-game warm-up.

Following the game’s conclusion, Doncic made his way across the court to converse further with Perez, who was situated near the Clippers’ bench. However, he was interrupted by post-match television interviews, postponing their farewell for a later time.

Appreciative of the presence.

“The fact that Florentino came to watch me play in a playoff game really speaks to the greatness of Real Madrid. I expressed my sincere gratitude to him for taking the time to support me. It’s truly remarkable to see him here,” expressed the Slovenian player during the press conference.

Doncic has consistently displayed his allegiance to Real Madrid, often discussing or sharing photos on social media of his former team’s matches in both football and basketball.

Despite his limited time on the court due to injury, he played a pivotal role during the Mavericks’ preseason trip to Madrid. He expressed his desire to revisit his former home, and indeed he did.
