In the NCAA Transfer Portal, forward Igor Milicic Jr. of the Charlotte 49ers committed to the Tennessee Volunteers on Monday morning.

Milicic Jr., previously of the Charlotte 49ers, garnered interest from multiple programs during this offseason’s transfer portal activity, with the Tennessee Volunteers swiftly emerging as one of his preferred destinations. After visiting a few weeks ago and maintaining ongoing discussions with Tennessee’s coaching staff, he finalized his commitment to the Vols on Monday.

Having started his collegiate career with the Virginia Cavaliers, Milicic Jr. moved to Charlotte for the subsequent seasons. During his time with the 49ers, he averaged 12.8 points and 8.5 rebounds per game this season, hitting 37.6% of his three-point attempts on 4.8 tries per game. Standing at 6 feet 10 inches and weighing 225 pounds, he has one season of eligibility remaining.

Additionally, earlier in the offseason, Tennessee secured a commitment from Darlinstone Dubar, a transfer from Hofstra Pride. Dubar recorded averages of 17.8 points and 6.8 rebounds per game while shooting 39.9% from beyond the arc on 5.5 attempts per game. Measuring at 6 feet 8 inches and 211 pounds, Dubar’s addition further enhances Tennessee’s frontcourt capabilities while maintaining shooting prowess.
