Caitlin Clark’s response to Indiana transforming into “Tinseltown” sparks an immediate viral meme.

Regardless of the amount of media coverage she receives, the dazzling city lights will forever feel surreal to Caitlin Clark, a native of Iowa. When questioned about her Indiana Fever teammate Erica Wheeler’s statement regarding Indiana’s newfound “Hollywood” status, Clark’s response quickly turned into a widely circulated meme.

Clark transformed Indiana into a place akin to Hollywood. When a reporter brought up Wheeler’s statement, Clark reacted with a perplexed expression, as if someone had offered her an unusual sandwich combination like peanut butter and mayo.

Initially skeptical about the comparison between Indiana and Hollywood, Clark eventually warmed up to the idea. “I like that,” she said with a broad grin, conceding to Wheeler’s perspective. She recalled the WNBA Draft party hosted by the Fever, where enthusiastic fans packed the arena to witness her being chosen as the No. 1 overall pick. Anticipating a similarly enthusiastic turnout for Indiana’s first home preseason game, Clark acknowledged that although it’s technically a non-competitive match, the crowd’s enthusiasm will be reminiscent of a Hollywood event.

“For me, it’s all about the excitement,” Clark remarked. “People are eager to attend our games and witness the action. This is just the beginning; we haven’t even stepped onto the court yet.”
