Done deal: Another mega star player from Ipswich Town committed to Leeds United just….

In January, Leeds United supporters were clamoring for a striker, and Brian Deane regrets that the team didn’t sign a forward who has subsequently helped propel them into the playoffs.

Joel Piroe’s performance had declined after a strong start to the season, but Patrick Bamford returned to form after failing to score at all in 2023, scoring nine times since January.

While Leeds could have benefited from another striker, Bamford’s resurgence likely negated the need for a new attacker, with the team only securing the loan signing of Wales international Connor Roberts from Burnley in the winter transfer window.

At the start of January, Leeds were reportedly considering a move for Welsh forward Kieffer Moore, who was seeing limited playing time at Bournemouth in the Premier League.

Leeds were among the clubs monitoring Moore’s situation, aware of his potential availability. However, Moore opted to join Kieran McKenna’s Ipswich instead of Leeds and has since excelled.

With 155 appearances and 47 goals in the Championship, Moore is well-regarded for his prowess at this level, as demonstrated during the latter part of the season under McKenna at Portman Road.
