Bruins Key Figures Share Perspectives on Raising Their Performance Against the Panthers
The Bruins faced a setback as head coach Jim Montgomery disclosed that captain Brad Marchand is dealing with an upper-body injury, acquired during Game 3 against the Panthers.
With Marchand’s absence, other team leaders must step up and strategize on how to enhance their performance to level the series in Game 4.
“We’re focusing on the next game,” Charlie Coyle informed reporters following the Bruins’ practice at Warrior Ice Arena on Saturday. “We had a productive practice today, concentrating on the upcoming task, preparing ourselves, reviewing some aspects. We acknowledge we can perform better and aim to demonstrate that tomorrow.”
Despite trailing 2-1 in the series, the Bruins maintain belief in themselves as a collective unit, understanding the necessity for a complete 60-minute effort to overcome the Panthers.
“I have full confidence and trust in this team,” expressed Charlie McAvoy to reporters. “We’re a tightly-knit group. Our belief in each other remains unwavering. There were moments in Game 1 where we excelled. Now, we must sustain it for the entire 60 minutes and start building momentum. That’s our focus for Sunday, and we’re eager for the opportunity.”
