Wisconsin’s football team recruits a wide receiver previously playing for Boston College.
In their quest to bolster the team this spring, Wisconsin coach Luke Fickell and his staff have been actively scouring the transfer portal for linemen and wide receivers.
Their efforts paid off on Friday as the Badgers secured their third transfer commitment of the season from Joseph Griffin Jr., a wide receiver from Boston College.
Standing at 6-foot-3 and weighing 199 pounds, Griffin brings two seasons of experience from Boston College and still has two seasons of eligibility left.
Having recently visited Madison, Griffin showcased his talent with 18 catches for 234 yards and five touchdowns in his freshman year, followed by 25 catches for 345 yards and one touchdown in his sophomore year.
Earlier in the spring, Wisconsin also welcomed offensive linemen Leyton Nelson from Vanderbilt and Joey Okla from Illinois.
Despite these additions, the Badgers are still on the lookout for defensive linemen to bolster their depth for the upcoming 2024 season.
