After a challenging 2023-24 season, where they finished with an 8-24 record and went winless in 18 SEC games, Missouri aims for significant improvement. They exited the SEC Tournament in the first round against Georgia.
The team anticipates a promising 2024-25 season with one of the top newcomer classes in the country. Missouri boasts the fifth-ranked freshman class and the twelfth-ranked transfer class under the guidance of third-year head coach Dennis Gates, formerly known as the Whitten Family Men’s Basketball Head Coach.
Among the notable recruits are five commits in the 2024 class, including 4-star players Annor Boateng, Marcus Allen, Peyton Marshall, Trent Burns, and 3-star T.O. Barrett. Additionally, they’ve secured transfers including Mark Mitchell from Duke, Tony Perkins from Iowa, Jacob Crews from UT Martin, and Marques Warrick from Northern Kentucky.
