Shocking: It may be the end of Bilal Coulibaly’s season Might he be done with the Washington Wizards too?

Bilal Coulibaly remains firm in his assessment of Pascal Siakam, refusing to retract his statements despite controversy. The Washington Wizards player reiterated his belief, originally expressed in an interview with FanDuel TV, that Siakam, a former Toronto Raptors All-Star, was the easiest star to defend in the NBA. Coulibaly emphasized his confidence in this judgment, citing his study of game footage where he could predict Siakam’s moves with ease.

In a previous interview with RMC Sports in French, Coulibaly labeled Siakam as the league’s most overrated player, clarifying later that his opinion wasn’t misinterpreted; he genuinely found Siakam’s playing style manageable to counter.

When pressed by FanDuel’s Michelle Beadle about other players he felt similarly about, Coulibaly declined to name names.

Siakam faced off against Washington twice last season as a Raptor, with Toronto emerging victorious in both encounters. Despite Siakam’s high-scoring performances in those games, including 39 points in one and 22 in another, Coulibaly maintained his stance.

Siakam was traded to the Indiana Pacers in January, where he has been a standout performer, especially in the playoffs, averaging impressive stats across points, rebounds, and assists.

In contrast, Coulibaly, the seventh pick in last year’s draft, had more modest statistics for the Wizards during the season.
