The Lions kick off the season at home with a prime-time showdown against the Los Angeles Rams, led by Matthew Stafford—a rematch from last year’s Wild Card game. Detroit’s first quarter features three home games. However, after an early bye in Week 5, four of the next five games will be on the road, including challenging matchups against the Cowboys, Packers, and Texans.

The Thanksgiving Day tradition will see the Chicago Bears as opponents for the fourth time in seven years (boo).

The schedule also sees just six games at the typical 1 p.m. ET Sunday slot, something Lions fans may need to adjust to now that the team is a frequent feature in prime time and nationally highlighted late afternoon games.
