Its a done deal: Another mega super star player committed to Leeds United just…..

Leeds United are now considered one of the leading contenders to sign a highly sought-after defender who is attracting interest from across Europe this summer.

Just days before the play-off final, Daniel Farke and his team face the challenging task of planning for the upcoming transfer window.

The outcome of Sunday’s match will significantly influence their summer strategy, but Leeds are already identifying potential targets.

Reports suggest that if they fail to secure promotion, Farke’s team might need to sell key players, possibly including Archie Gray and Crysencio Summerville.

Summerville is expected to attract numerous suitors regardless of which division Leeds play in next season, though remaining in the top flight would improve their chances of retaining him.

Leeds and German club Hoffenheim are both reportedly interested in a defensive target this summer.

Ethan Ampadu and Joe Rodon have been among the best signings in the Championship this season, but Leeds will need greater depth in defense if they get promoted, especially since Rodon’s move isn’t permanent yet.

German journalist Florian Plettenberg has reported Leeds’ interest in Gent centre-back Jordan Torunarigha.

The 26-year-old has had an impressive season in Belgium, a league gaining more attention from top European clubs.

Torunarigha could be available for a reasonable £3m this summer, with just one year remaining on his contract.

Plettenberg noted: “News Torunarigha | One year left on his contract after a top season of the 26 y/o centre-back from Gent!

“A summer transfer is possible with a valuation around €2.5-3m.

“Stuttgart showed interest in the new Nigerian international earlier to replace the injured Zagadou.”
