YES ITS TRUE: He is more than Alexander Isak. check this out

The 2023/24 season has wrapped up, and Nottingham Forest boasted a player more clinical than Alexander Isak.

The Reds ended the Premier League season in 17th place, a finish that wasn’t particularly memorable. However, there were some bright spots and notable moments of watching Forest in the top flight again.

Forest secured home victories against FA Cup winners Manchester United, an away win at Newcastle, and a victory over Chelsea in September.

Several players stood out, including Morgan Gibbs-White, Murillo, and Callum Hudson-Odoi. Notably, Chris Wood had an impressive season, scoring 15 goals across all competitions.

New statistics highlight Wood’s remarkable performance this season, demonstrating his efficiency in front of goal. He equaled his best Premier League goal tally with 14 goals from 48 chances, resulting in a 29.2% conversion rate, significantly higher than Isak’s 22.2% from 72 shots.

Despite being 32, Wood remains a key player for Forest and has excelled under Nuno Espirito Santo, netting 11 of his 15 goals under the Portuguese coach. His performance has even kept Taiwo Awoniyi out of the starting lineup in recent weeks, including scoring twice against Burnley last Sunday.

Forest’s £15 million investment in Wood, initially met with skepticism by fans, has been justified by his performance. These stats illustrate his potential with adequate support, promising more success in the 2024/25 season.
