New Coventry City winger Ephron Mason-Clark described his move from Peterborough United as a “really easy decision”.

Mason-Clark completed his transfer to the Sky Blues in January but stayed on loan at Posh, where he celebrated winning the EFL Trophy but faced disappointment in the League One play-offs.

Now, the winger is gearing up for life in the Championship with Mark Robins’ squad, aiming to help them achieve promotion to the Premier League.

In his first club interview since joining from Posh, the former Barnet player said the decision to move to Coventry was straightforward after discussions with manager Mark Robins.

“For me, it was a really easy decision,” he explained. “Talking to the manager, I knew I wanted to be part of this. Watching the team play made me eager to join and elevate my game.â€

Mason-Clark is set for a break before returning for pre-season and added, “I can’t wait to impress and work hard for the team, not just for the fans but also for my teammates and the staff. I really can’t wait to get started.â€
