Football royalty in San Antonio.
For the third consecutive year, Texas Tech Head Football Coach Joey McGuire was the guest speaker at the San Antonio Quarterback Club.
McGuire had plenty of good news to share about his program. Texas Tech boasts a Top 25 recruiting class, upgraded facilities, and sold-out season tickets. Since joining Tech, McGuire has led the team to two consecutive bowl victories, and many predict his team will win the revamped Big 12 this fall.
After driving to San Antonio, McGuire flew to Detroit to meet with the Detroit Lions staff. He was highly impressed with the culture Dan Campbell and his team established this year and looks forward to “picking his brain,” as you’ll hear in the attached video clip.
