David Pastrnak desires to have Leon Draisaitl join him in Boston.

On a recent episode of Spittin’ Chiclets, David Pastrnak appeared as a guest alongside Paul Bissonnette and Ryan Whitney. The hosts asked Pastrnak if he liked the idea of Leon Draisaitl joining the Bruins, and Pastrnak eagerly responded, “I’d love Draisaitl!”

TVA Sports also covered this topic, noting that Pastrnak, who plays wing, would benefit from Draisaitl, a center, joining the team. This duo could become one of the NHL’s most powerful combinations, with Pastrnak’s scoring ability complemented by Draisaitl’s similar style of play.

This potential pairing would address the Bruins’ need at center, a role currently filled by Charlie Coyle, with young Matthew Poitras still developing. However, Poitras is unlikely to reach the talent level and impact of Draisaitl.

Draisaitl’s contract expires next summer, leaving Oilers’ GM Ken Holland with a crucial decision: should he keep Draisaitl in hopes of winning the Cup next year but risk losing him for nothing, or trade him this summer to maximize his value and ensure a return for his services?
