NFL SAGAS: Carolina Panthers cornerback has annouces to change his position from cornerback to qrauterback due to…..

It’s well known that the Carolina Panthers have concerns at the cornerback position. While Dan Morgan appears confident that the current options can step up, the fanbase is clearly anxious.

If Jaycee Horn faces further injury setbacks, this unit could quickly become a significant vulnerability. The Panthers are relying on their top outside coverage player to stay healthy and become one of the league’s premier shutdown corners. Anything less could lead to serious problems.

Rumors about the Panthers pursuing Stephon Gilmore have subsided. Although the former NFL Defensive Player of the Year was reportedly interested in returning to the team, he knows his value and isn’t willing to take a hometown discount.

This may push the Panthers to explore other options. Bringing someone in quickly to ease the transition would be wise. Considering available players, taking a chance on J.C. Jackson might be a good idea if the financial terms are agreeable for both sides.

Jackson emerged as an elite player with the New England Patriots, earning a lucrative contract with the Los Angeles Chargers. However, an unfortunate injury after just five games derailed his season.

Currently a free agent after spending the latter half of last season back in New England, Jackson may be waiting for a call from a contending team. Nevertheless, the Panthers could offer him a starting role and the chance to form a strong partnership with Horn in Ejiro Evero’s system.

While this might not be enough to persuade Jackson, it wouldn’t hurt the Panthers to make an attempt. Regardless, Morgan needs to take action to bolster the cornerback group before the regular season begins.
