Media reports indicate that star wide receiver Davante Adams and rookie guard Jackson Powers-Johnson, a second-round pick, were both participating in practice. Powers-Johnson had sustained an undisclosed injury during an OTA session last month, causing him to miss several media-accessible practices. Adams had also been absent from the field during most media-covered voluntary workouts in recent weeks, although he was reportedly present at the team’s Henderson, Nevada facility.
Having both players return is a significant boost for the Raiders. This minicamp is especially crucial for Powers-Johnson, who is expected to start at guard despite limited college experience in the position.
