IT’S A DONE DEAL: Another mega star player Jaelen Waters committed to the Florida Gators just……….

The Florida Gators picked up their first commitment for the Class of 2026 on Saturday when an instate defensive back committed to Florida.

2026 defensive back Jaelen Waters (6-2,170, Seffner, FL. Armwood) committed to Florida just days after leaving the Florida State class on Thursday.

“Great to be a Florida Gator,” Waters wrote on a Twitter post

Waters committed to Florida State on April 23rd when he committed to the Noles over Florida, Notre Dame, and Texas.

The Gators didn’t give up on Waters as defensive backs coach Will Harris recruited him hard and got him on campus recently and then pulled off the flip.

Waters is considered one of the top prospects at his position in the Class of 2026 and has played well during the 7-on-7 circuit this spring and summer.
