### Andre Stewart Transfers to Tennessee Volunteers from Towson

The Tennessee Volunteers continue to strengthen their roster through the transfer portal. Defensive back Andre Stewart from Towson has officially announced his transfer to Tennessee.

Stewart entered the transfer portal in December and has now committed to his new college football home. After redshirting at Kentucky in 2022, he transferred to Towson for the 2023 season before deciding to transfer again.

Rated as a three-star prospect out of North Cobb High School in Georgia, Stewart initially attended Brookwood High School and was a borderline top-50 player in the state. During his initial recruitment, he visited Tennessee multiple times and now joins the program for the 2024 season. At Towson, he played in five games, contributed on special teams, and recorded two tackles.

The Volunteers have been active in the transfer market, bringing in a significant number of new players this offseason. With Stewart’s addition, Tennessee has reached double digits in incoming transfers this year, including five defensive players, four of whom will join the secondary.
