ANOTHER ONE: A mega star player committed to the Wrexham just….

The star has also played for teams like Sunderland and Sheffield Wednesday. Former Hibernian striker Steven Fletcher has signed a new one-year contract with Wrexham.

The club, owned by Hollywood duo Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, signed Fletcher last summer after his time at Dundee United. Fletcher began his career at Hibs and then moved to Burnley. He has also played for Wolves, Sunderland, Sheffield Wednesday, Marseille, and Stoke City in addition to Dundee United.

Fletcher scored eight goals in 34 games for Wrexham and will return for their League One season, following their promotion from the English fourth tier last season. Regarding his new contract, the former Hibs, Sunderland, and Sheffield Wednesday star stated, “I’m delighted to have signed another year, and I’m really looking forward to the season ahead.”

Manager Phil Parkinson added, “We’re pleased Steven has re-signed. He played a key role on and off the pitch last season, and we look forward to working with him again in our League One campaign.”
