So, what kind of players should the Jaguars evaluate before camp starts? ESPN recommended veteran safety Jayron Kearse, formerly of the Dallas Cowboys, as a potential addition. This would provide experienced depth and competition for second-year defensive back Antonio Johnson.
Kearse, 30, was picked by the Minnesota Vikings in the seventh round of the 2016 NFL Draft. Over his four years with the Vikings, he started in five games and played in 62, accumulating 79 tackles, eight pass breakups, and one interception.
