The Red Arrows are back in action this weekend, one week after the Buckingham Palace flypast for King Charles’ birthday celebrations. On Friday, June 21, Lincolnshire’s iconic aerobatics team traveled from their base at RAF Waddington to Prestwick Airport in Scotland.
They have two displays scheduled for Saturday, June 22: the Northern Ireland Armed Forces Day display at Newtownabbey and the Scottish Traditional Boat Festival display at Portsoy. The team will take off from Prestwick at 11:45 am on Saturday, reaching Newtownabbey at 12:00 pm.
After returning to Prestwick, they will head to RAF Lossiemouth before appearing in Portsoy at 5:59 pm. On Sunday, June 23, the Red Arrows will return to RAF Waddington and then perform at the Sywell Air Show at 5:30 pm.
