Grimsby Town have acquired Derry City defender Cameron McJannet on a two-year contract for an undisclosed fee.
The 25-year-old English player joined Derry City from Stoke City in 2020 and has accumulated 142 appearances.
“I’m absolutely thrilled; when I first heard about it, I was excited by the opportunity,” he stated on the club’s website. “The manager has shown interest in my playing style, both defensively and in possession, and I hope to contribute that on the field.”
McJannet marks Grimsby’s fourth signing of the summer, following Matty Carson (left-back), Jordan Wright (goalkeeper), and Tyrell Warren (defender).
