Derby County has signed strikers Kayden Jackson and Jerry Yates, while Louie Sibley has left the club after his contract expired.

Jackson, 30, joined the Rams on a two-year deal after being released by Ipswich Town. Yates, 27, arrived at Pride Park on a season-long loan from Swansea City.

Sibley, 22, a product of Derby’s academy, couldn’t agree on a new contract and has departed.

Striker James Collins, 33, who netted 19 goals in the League One promotion campaign, has extended his stay with a new one-year deal.

Jackson, after six seasons at Ipswich Town, scored 28 goals in 199 appearances. Yates, who scored nine goals in 46 games for Swansea City following his £2.5m transfer from Blackpool, also boasts 46 goals in three seasons with the Seasiders.

Both new strikers join Ben Osborn, who was recently signed from Sheffield United.

Sibley leaves after 173 appearances and 20 goals, having debuted for the first team at 17 in 2019.
