VIDEO: Weirdest red card this season?! West Brom manager Carlos Corberan sent off just six minutes into Southampton clash after moment of madness sees him kick the ball while it is still in play.
The West Brom manager seemed to lose his senses early in the clash with Southampton on Friday night. As the ball rolled down the flank near his technical area, Corberan appeared to try to control it despite it still being in play. The referee subsequently sent him off for interfering with play.
The Baggies are currently in the play-off spots in the Championship and began the day in fifth. However, shortly after their manager was sent to the stands, they fell behind as Ryan Fraser scored for the high-flying Saints, who are chasing automatic promotion following last season’s relegation from the Premier League.
