Iorfa Junior Signs Contract Extension With Sheffield Wednesday

Dominic Iorfa Junior, a key player for Sheffield Wednesday FC in England, has signed a contract extension until the 2026 football season, according to BSNSports.com.ng.

Iorfa Junior is the son of Dominic Iorfa, the CEO of Lobi Stars FC of Makurdi.

The extension of his contract is a testament to his impressive performances at the core of Sheffield Wednesday’s defense.

Since joining from Premier League side Wolves in January 2019, the towering defender has made 142 appearances for the club, scoring five goals from the back.

He was named Player of the Year for the 2019/20 season.

The 29-year-old has shown versatility, excelling both as a central defender and at right back.

Iorfa played a crucial role in the team’s promotion to the Championship at Wembley in May 2023 and was instrumental in helping the Owls secure their place in the second tier last season.
