Midfielder Kenzo Goudmijn is set to join Derby County from AZ Alkmaar after passing a medical, sources informed Football Insider. The 22-year-old will sign a four-year contract with the Championship club, who agreed on a £600,000 fee for the attacking midfielder.

Last season, Goudmijn was on loan at Excelsior from AZ Alkmaar, where his impressive performances caught Derby’s attention. Having passed his medical, Goudmijn is expected to complete his move to the Rams within the next 24 hours.

The former Netherlands Under-19 international made 23 starts during his loan spell at Excelsior, recording one goal and four assists. He progressed through AZ’s youth system and has made 20 appearances for their senior team, including five in the UEFA Conference League.
