EFL Championship newcomers Derby County have announced their new cohort of full-time scholars for the 2024-2025 season.
Twelve players have signed scholarship agreements with the Rams, including Charles Ebuka Agbawodikeizu, eligible for the Golden Eaglets, who joined from West Ham United. The new scholars were introduced at an induction evening at Pride Park Stadium in late June.
During the induction ceremony held in the Toyota Suite, Ebuka’s family attended and watched him sign his contract.
Ebuka shared that he chose Derby County as it offered him a chance to make his first team debut in the near future, and he has committed to giving his best in the upcoming season.
Additionally, Derby County confirmed that Nigerian forward Justin Oguntolu has entered the second year of his scholarship with the club.
