Allie Skaggs, one of the most accomplished second basemen in Arizona softball history, will continue her playing career this summer with Athletes Unlimited Pro Softball.
AU announced Wednesday morning that Skaggs will join the league for its five weeks of competition at Parkway Bank Sports Complex in Rosemont, Ill., starting July 26.
Skaggs, a Class of 2020 Ironwood Ridge graduate and Tucson native, is one of 60 players who will participate.
She will join former Arizona pitchers Alyssa Denham and Taylor McQuillin. Former Arizona catcher Sharlize Palacios, who completed her career at UCLA, is also in the league
