sad news: West Brom captain Jed Wallace gave three reasons why he is leaving the club…..

West Brom are looking to bolster their midfield options in light of the potential departure of a EURO 2024 star. The Baggies are reportedly eyeing Cameron Brannagan from Oxford United, with Championship rivals Blackburn Rovers also interested in the 28-year-old midfielder who is in the final year of his contract, according to Football Insider.

Brannagan is a versatile midfielder capable of handling both attacking and defensive roles. With Hull City rumored to be pursuing Okay Yokuslu, West Brom may need a new central midfielder. Although Brannagan has spent most of his career in League One and has never played in the Championship, he came through Liverpool’s youth academy, made nine first-team appearances, played three times in the Premier League, and even featured in the UEFA Europa League.

Born in Manchester, Brannagan is just 10 appearances away from reaching 300 games for Oxford United, where he has scored 54 goals and provided 31 assists over six years at the Kassam Stadium.

In other news, Sunderland are considering offering a contract to a player who was on trial at the Hawthorns earlier this year.
