Triston McKenzie started on Sunday and had an effective outing, allowing just two runs on two hits over four innings while striking out two. However, he was sent to Triple-A to address his control issues, which were evident as he walked seven batters in four innings. The Clippers bullpen was outstanding, with Randy Labaut pitching two scoreless innings, followed by Conner Gillispie, Anthony Gose, and Andrew Walters combining for three scoreless innings to secure two holds and a save.
