remo Stars have confirmed the acquisition of defender Sani Faisal for the upcoming season, according to DAILY POST. Faisal is the Sky Blue Stars’ first summer signing. The left-back was initially set to join South African club Chippa United, but the transfer did not mat.
Last season, Faisal played for the four-time Nigeria Premier Football League champions, Kano Pillars. He has also previously played for Katsina United and Kwara United. Considered one of the top defenders in the NPFL, Faisal has already represented Nigeria at the international level.
