Rangers are negotiating deals for conor join Aris Limassol in Cyprus and Sam Lammers to transfer to FC Twee. They are also in advanced discussions to sign winger Vaclav Cerny on loan. Despite an initial bid being rejected, captain James Tavernier might still move to Trabzonspor.
Connor Goldson, Rangers’ vice-captain, is finalizing his move to Aris Limassol. After initial talks, he returned to play in a friendly against Birmingham City but has now left for the Cypriot club. Contrary to reports, he has not yet undergone a medical.
Goldson joined Rangers in 2018, winning the Scottish Premiership, Scottish Cup, and League Cup, and helping them reach the Europa League final in 2022
Rangers are also in discussions with Trabzonspor regarding James Tavernier, which, along with Goldson’s departure, could free up over £70,000 a week in wages for manager Philippe Clement’s squad rebuild.
FC Twente is negotiating to sign Sam Lammers for over £2 million. Lammers, who joined Rangers last summer for around £3.5 million, spent the latter part of the season on loan at FC Utrecht, scoring 11 goals in 20 games, attracting interest from various Eredivisie clubs.
