Derby will compete in the Championship for the first time in two years, starting their 2024/25 season against Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park on August 9th.

Under Warne’s leadership, the Rams secured promotion back to the second tier last season, finishing in the top two of League One ahead of Bolton Wanderers, marking the fourth promotion of Warne’s managerial career.

So far, Derby have signed five new players this summer, and Corey Blackett-Taylor’s transfer from Charlton Athletic has been made permanent. More signings are expected before the season begins. They have also secured the loan of Crystal Palace midfielder David Ozoh, strengthening a midfield already bolstered by the additions of Kenzo Goudmijn, Ebou Adams, and Ben Osborn.

Here, we explore a few other potential loan signings from the Premier League that could further strengthen Warne’s squad.
