DONE DEAL: Leeds United have Another mega star player committed to their club just from…..

Leeds United have registered their interest in signing Birmingham City sensation Jordan James, sources have told Football Insider.

The Yorkshire club are in the market for a new central midfielder following Glen Kamara’s £8.4 million transfer to French side Rennes and see James, 20, as a potential replacement

Sources have told Football Insider that Leeds have a “strong interest” in James but face competition from an unnamed Premier League club for his signature.

Birmingham could be forced to reluctantly sell their prize asset after a heavy round of spending this summer following their relegation to League One.

James may only be 20-years-old but he’s already made 105 appearances and scored 10 goals for his boyhood club.

Last season was his most fruitful despite Birmingham’s eventual relegation from the Championship, scoring eight goals in 47 appearances in all competitions.
