**Finn Sherlock Joins TSG 1899 Hoffenheim**
Shelbourne FC has announced that Finn Sherlock will be leaving the club to join TSG 1899 Hoffenheim in Germany, effective July 1st, 2024.
Finn joined Shelbourne FC in January 2022 from Cootehill Harps and quickly made an impact. After being capped at the U15 level by the Republic of Ireland, he became a key player in Paul Osam’s squad, contributing to Ireland’s Victory Shield win in 2023. His performances attracted attention from several European clubs.
In 2023, Finn appeared for Shelbourne FC’s U17 National League team and, at just 15, scored during pre-season for the first team against Bray, becoming one of the youngest goal scorers for the senior Reds. Currently, he captains the U17 National League team.
While Shelbourne FC was keen to continue working with Finn, he has decided to advance his career with Hoffenheim, where he will compete in the A-Junioren Bundesliga next season.
