### Young Gunners Set for Penultimate Pre-Season Clash with Lincoln City
Our young Gunners are gearing up for their second-to-last pre-season fixture against League One’s Lincoln City, scheduled for Saturday, August 3, at 3 PM (UK time). The match will take place at the LNER Stadium.
Following a 3-1 defeat to Bishop’s Stortford on Wednesday night, our under-21s will be eager to bounce back with a win.
#### Opponent Spotlight: Lincoln City
Lincoln City had an impressive run last season, finishing seventh in League One. They just missed out on the play-offs, losing the sixth spot on the final day of the 2023/24 regular season.
Lincoln’s pre-season has been solid, with no losses in their three matches. They recently triumphed over Harrogate Town with a 4-0 victory last Saturday, and previously secured a 1-0 win against Championship side Preston, along with a 0-0 draw against Oldham Athletic.
This upcoming match will be Lincoln’s final pre-season game before they begin their 2024/25 League One campaign away at Burton Albion on Saturday, August 10.
