Leeds United have reportedly made an offer for Fenerbahce winger Ryan Kent.
The Whites have been active in the summer transfer window, with notable departures such as Archie Gray, Luis Sinisterra, and Glen Kamara for substantial fees. At the same time, they’ve secured significant signings, including Joe Rodon, Jayden Bogle, and Joe Rothwell.
It appears Leeds are set to lose another key player, as Fabrizio Romano reports that West Ham United have agreed to sign winger Crysencio Summerville for a deal worth over £25 million, including add-ons.
Crysencio Summerville to West Ham, here we go! Deal in place between clubs for a package in excess of £25m with add-ons. Summerville agreed on long-term deal and he also spoke to Lopetegui ahead of the move. Leeds United accepted the proposal and he’s now set to sign.” — Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) July 31, 2024.
Leeds are already searching for a replacement, and according to Turkish reports via Football Fancast, Ryan Kent is a target.
Ryan Kent bid submitted by Leeds
A product of Liverpool’s youth system, Kent currently plays for Fenerbahce after a successful stint at Rangers, where he scored 33 goals and provided 56 assists in 218 appearances, winning the Scottish Premiership and Scottish Cup.
Kent joined Fenerbahce last summer but struggled in his first season in Turkey, with just one goal and two assists in 19 appearances.
The Turkish reports indicate that Leeds have submitted a €3 million (£2.5 million) bid for the 27-year-old, who has 38 goals and 64 assists in his senior club career.
